Participants' Rights and Responsibilities
At Nor-West, our primary focus is providing engaging and meaningful activities that contribute to the overall well-being of our participants. We firmly believe that recreation is crucial in achieving happiness and fulfillment in life. To that end, we thoughtfully design our programs to be both enjoyable and beneficial, offering opportunities for socialization, skill-building, and self-confidence.
Nor-West endeavors to provide quality programming for all participants. We emphasize safety above all else and we make adaptations wherever possible to accommodate our groups. We design our programs in the interest of delivering enjoyment and satisfaction to our participants. To the extent possible, Nor-West will provide each participant with choices about the services they receive.
No participants shall be deprived of any civil or legal right due to diagnosis of developmental disability. All participants are shown the respect and dignity afforded to all people regardless of race, religion, national origin, creed, age, gender, ethnic background, sexual orientation, developmental disability or other health condition. Discrimination in any form is not tolerated.
If you think your rights have not been respected, or something is wrong with the way you are being treated, there are people and programs that can help. Visit our Resource Page for further information!
